Xanadu Railroad
Carefully, quickly unbuckle your belt
Licking your length and patting your pelt
Ignore the conductor requesting his fare
Magma is rising; you're just about there
Agony bellows; I muffle your moans
Xanadu Railroad, I'm riding you home

Thanks, Richard. I actually appreciate that a lot because I wasn't sure if anyone would get it. That's the only option I have on this site. Others you can change the font.

Thanks. The term you are looking for in poetry is "meter", but you are most observant. Thanks for reading, Billy!

I frequently write in Iambic meter which is the meter used for English Sonnets. I'm just naturally inclined to do that. This piece has a variable meter, but it works okay. If you actually count the syllables in each line, they are not always exactly the same. For the most part, this is pentameter (meaning 5 feet per line). A 'foot' in poetry is equal to two syllables. Sonnets are Iambic Pentameter... five feet per line with unstressed syllable followed by stressed syllable.
