A mile wide and an inch deep
A kaleidoscope refracting upon the panonrama
Causing immediate catastrophic deterioration
Of the optic sensory while creating rays of gamma
Intensifying and stupefying to a climax
Leading to temporary discomfort and irritation
Culminating with involuntary squinting attacks
What the fuck are you taking about?
The sun was in my eyes.

I appreciate that you found humor in it. Figured it could go either way.

It was just a bit of satire. A lot of the poetry here is very deep and profound. I sometimes feel like my work is a bit out of place here so I decided to give it a go in a tongue in cheek kind of way. Lots of big words but not much more to it lol
I do hope that you are doing well and are healthy now?

thank you for your heart felt concern.. dont worry I am ok after reading your poem ... it brought a smile to my face... I also have the same idea here... some of the poems and people are a little deep ... so I try to cheer up a little... we are here to have fun even when we are a little depressed ... especially when we are a little depressed ... we want someone to cheer us up a little... I hope I can help

It is genuinely good to hear that you are doing well. Heart issues are scary stuff. Lost a few family members that way.
Im also glad that I was able to bring a smile to your face. I think that a lot of us writers are hurting in some way or another and need some sort of avenue for release. We are tortured souls but also kindred souls in that regard. I write to release. I share in hopes that others may find comfort in my words because they can relate. Those are the poems that touch me on a personsl level. Pretty words and profound writing styles are nice but it's the rawness and realness that draws me in. Im looking to see that other people are experiencing similar things. To know that Im not all alone in what I'm feeling. To know there are other survivors out there. I'm not interested in deciphering the riddies of the sphinx.
Anyway, yes, you should cheer up and I probably should too. If only it were that easy but I suppose our writing would sufffer for it and who wants that? I appreciate you wanting to help and I will reciprocate on that. Ya ever need a ear, you can reach out. I'm a pretty good listener and sometimes, that is all we need. We aren't always looking for someone to solve. Sometimes we just want someone to listen but also to hear us.
Chin up little lady.
