A Little Ditty
I want to write a song that I can't sing
With words that don't rhyme
And no real rhythm
To speak of
Maybe I'll throw in a trombone solo
And call it jazz adjacent
But what I really want
Is for it to be indecent
Not vulgar or filled with
Glistening vaginas
But tongue in cheek nasty
With innuendo aplenty
A superficial and supercilious little ditty
Just haughty enough to annoy you
But a definite toe tapper
Guaranteed to give you an earworm
I think I'll ask David Lee Roth to sing it
Because nobody sings like Dave
The trombone soloist of singers
I really want to write this song
But it can't be done
In the time allotted
Too bad
It would be a hit
With words that don't rhyme
And no real rhythm
To speak of
Maybe I'll throw in a trombone solo
And call it jazz adjacent
But what I really want
Is for it to be indecent
Not vulgar or filled with
Glistening vaginas
But tongue in cheek nasty
With innuendo aplenty
A superficial and supercilious little ditty
Just haughty enough to annoy you
But a definite toe tapper
Guaranteed to give you an earworm
I think I'll ask David Lee Roth to sing it
Because nobody sings like Dave
The trombone soloist of singers
I really want to write this song
But it can't be done
In the time allotted
Too bad
It would be a hit
