Good way to transition the allegorical times we live in to a "ride", heh.  Nice touch with the 5-syllable word at the end.  I'm going to choose to define being buckled in a rollercoaster, and not to be cast out, because that's what seems the most fitting for me, ha-ha.

Fuck seatbelts I hate them.
I would rather drive well than rely on others to be able to drive because my experience is that they can't.
