Spring Clean

Spring is in the air and for sure it works  
I'm busy with dusters and suchlike stuff,  
this sap's rising and for once I'll not shirk  
in shaking the house free of dust and fluff.  
 
And the cobwebby clutter of my mind  
blown clean with wide open window of eyes,  
my melatonin induced sleep, seemed kind  
during cold nights, till I woke to spring's highs...  
 
And, NaPoWriMo Twenty-Twenty-Four,  
proving their dedication to their art,  
with new poetical subjects galore,  
as I, again think, next year, I'll take part...  
 
Till then I can merely cheer them on, so,
More power to your pen guys and elbows.
