Let's have conversation        
Not a confrontation        
But sadly we've been programmed      
We are divided      
And not united        
The media and government has scammed      
Our thoughts our minds      
These trying times      
Filled with hate speech crescendo      
Chaotic commotion      
Our religious devotion        
Its all gone out the window      
Lies are exposed        
But our minds disposed      
As we recklessly anchor in our stance      
As we prepare      
We are unaware      
Of the impending circumstance      
One side initiates        
The other retaliates      
As we all inch closer to war      
Lacking communication        
Filled with frustration        
We forget what we are even fighting for      
Our values invaded      
Absolutely frustrated    
Rational persuaded by rumors created      
Marching orders dictated      
Our emotions abated      
Desecrating the ending we all awaited      
Blood is spilled      
People are killed      
And the governments get their riches      
Wool over the eyes      
A fox in disguise      
And we aren't even a little suspicious      
Now feeling humbled      
As empires crumbled      
Weeping at the verge of destruction        
Our hopes are chilled      
But we can still rebuild      
Starting with our leaders construction
