Insatiable

Among lingering chill through the bones
Can't fading summer heat even night quell
As fine crystal bleeds past the main course
Each sip compliments the prior, insatiable
Drowning, with desperation, out the dessert
Craving sweetness that time has passed by
Residing to quarters, hungry, lost in vertigo
Numb to the feel of Italian cotton percale
With close, the mind brings not one dream
