Predictability
Without waves
the ocean would just be water
Without stars
the endless night sky would just be black
Without lightening
storms would be all show and no action
Without wind
air would stay in one place
forever
essential, but predictable
The world still
and unnaturally calm

Very nice piece by your pen, deep and profound.
Maybe make the lines could flow a bit more if you would use regular longer lines in stead of the short chopped up lines
