I was going to do this piece as a lyric. Kind of had a melody going in my head but I chose to write it as a poem.

From a guy that is about 80% tatted I don't know how I feel about this one haha! Just kidding its all good. A lot of culture was involved in my "artwork" from neighborhood, to prison, to plights of life they tell my story. I actually prefer the older worn ones that remind me that despite a rugged life, I'm still here killing it! As poetry goes though, I appreciate your talent and this poem is no exception.

I look at tattoos like any other cool thing that once was...It went total mainstream. It's now a huge industry. Almost every person born after 2000 has them. When everyone has something, it now means nothing.
Once upon a time the tattoo truly had meaning and you dared to get one cause you weren't bad ass enough. Now every mom, geek, grandma, uncle, child, professor etc.. has them.
Pop culture of the last 20 years made this art form look ridiculous.
