Feedback Loop

Like echoes in experimental fade
we are cosmic lab rats forevermore
upon a spinning petri dish arrayed
against a vast sterility splendor
of bottomless ambiguity black
endorsing more discontinuity
by its grotesque labyrinthine attack
on our burgeoning acuity.

What might such a testing place be for
but to see shadows cast in Plato's cave
as reiteration's recurring wave
lapping on our existential shore...

with only suicide and homicide
on offer when we swim against the tide?

And only evidence in a lab or court
to lend Lady Justice any support?
