Early Bird
Early bird, early bird,
How do you rise,
In the dewy, misty ‘morn
Before the sunrise?
Early bird, early bird,
Did you catch the first worm?
You must feel so accomplished
In my birdhouse made firm.
Early bird, early bird,
Will you save a bite for me?
Survival of the fittest
Does not favor the seedy.
Early bird, early bird,
When the vultures begin circling,
Will you be comforted by your nature,
& standing firm in your belief?
{No one can be saved
Unless they save themselves}
