Killing Me Deliciously - Entre
Marriage on the thinnest of ice
Career like a ripe diaper,
long overdue for change.
Self control erodes,
not in million-year intervals,
the Grand Canyon way,
but in avalanchian
speed and proportion.
In what can I find solace; raison d'etre; endorphins…
whatever the kids call it these days?
Alcohol? Nah
Drugs? Take plenty
to stave off death's maw
Sex? Yeah, as if!
I seek comfort in gastronomy.
with a particularly
childlike, impetuous,
health-be-damned bliss.
