Through The Lands Of Heaven
The distant plains speak of the light blue, shaded beneath a sky indigo,
and the low clouds that float loaded with mist, whisper about an ivory hue,
and following the drifting sight much more below; the cypress forest
lies quite within emerald shadow.......
Rising behind, towering above the trees, and what the eye sees,
embracing all the existent beings, with mighty height, the majestic mountain,
awfully solid with rocks Old and bold, stands open-eyed, watching times passing,
to humans fast and dead faring..while the deeply-rooted, it keep its feet unshakable to any gust,
to any storm to any human scheme............
Meadows flat and curved, open their arms for happy daisies and poppies,
to dance and blush, and fields of varied growth, harbor the wild flower like a feeble weed,
slender, its twigs swaying in a vernal breeze, that's life with its wild beaut through the flower,
born in the wild field, growing among the different reeds and grass lands,
and random shrubs, but it keeps its reddish poppies unstained by any wild plant,
it lures the beholder to its passing feast, and burst with blush within a seasonal spree......
I took a twilight ride, sun barely peeping behind the hills, a lemon gleam like a wave glittering
in the sunset, between light and dark it sways, as i winded my way along the forest edge,
and the mountain side, where the wolf used to lurk and the sky used to nest the lark
singing above the wheat field close by..............
It's a narrow pathway, made by herds and shepherds,
flocks safely browsing and grazing on wet grass before dark.....
and their guardian, such ease such care not the least taken,
awaits patiently, blissfully the time they get plenty.........
As the dark shadows are cast long and thin, the wild i see
becomes so more romantic and meek, inspired me to pick some flowers
and fragrant memories of Spring rarely seen in such colourful scenery and most inviting charm....
