I agree with Moroccan Poet's comment. Writing an erotic poem for the first time can feel like, say taking a skinny dip in the sea at a nude beach for the first time. After the brief cringy moment of contact you find your enjoyment and later look back thinking what the apprehensive fuss was about. Let your style develop as your poetic body warms, depends on what you are comfortable with.
