welcome home sweet child,

I see debilitating anxiety and the all encompassing need for external validation.  
hiding in the corner is fear,  
and over by the window is the need to please,  
little matter to cost.  
   
and, OH. MY. GOD!  
what the hell is that??  
it looks so real and lifelike,  
it's almost perfect.  
   
is that how I "functioned" all those years?  
I had to have been suffocating!  
   
shh, be gentle my dear,  
you were stifled early on and knew nothing else.  
that mask did its best to shield and protect you.  
   
your parents placed it there to better prepare you to survive.  
their methods do leave much to be desired,  
but alas, you're here now.  
   
I am happy to have you,  
but I have to ask.  
how did you find me?  
after all this time?  
   
there was a spark  
   
I met another weary traveler on a similar journey,  
we'd actually met long before but neither remembered specifics.  
we live states away now,  
but it was easy, nice even, if you will.  
   
it didn't take me long to realize,  
we had crossed paths for a reason.  
   
that spark ignited a fire to fully dissect my life;  
I dug apart every facet piece by piece,  
I delved into all of my questions,  
I dove downhill.  
   
and?  
   
I found my belief in the universe and the balance it maintains,  
I found pure unadulterated happiness,  
I found a love with no greater counterpart,  
I found an imposter.  
   
imposter?  
   
a red herring, a false flag, someone erroneously promoted in my place  
   
I am Yin.  
I am, the one true Supreme.  
I am, the Divine Feminine.
