Numb
I believed in every word that you said.
Every syllable,
Every letter went straight to my head.
To my soul.
To my heart.
It was laced with lies.
Hidden behind sweet kisses,
Long goodbyes.
It left no visible trace.
Like strychnine on lace.
When eyes met.
(not mine)
When hands touched.
(not mine)
When lips collided.
(NOT MINE)
What could I do?
What could I say?
Could not move.
Didn’t want to stay.
She moaned.
You pressed.
My heart squeezing,
Inside my chest.
Move
Move
Getaway
Nothing here to do.
Nothing worth to say.
Numb.
Every syllable,
Every letter went straight to my head.
To my soul.
To my heart.
It was laced with lies.
Hidden behind sweet kisses,
Long goodbyes.
It left no visible trace.
Like strychnine on lace.
When eyes met.
(not mine)
When hands touched.
(not mine)
When lips collided.
(NOT MINE)
What could I do?
What could I say?
Could not move.
Didn’t want to stay.
She moaned.
You pressed.
My heart squeezing,
Inside my chest.
Move

Getaway
Nothing here to do.
Nothing worth to say.
Numb.
