Vanta

Don't fear the dark,
for the dark fears all but itself.
Rather consume it,
and digest all its wealth.

The stronger you glint,
the more opaque silhouettes cast.
Burdens keep glee, pride and joy in the past.

I dont feel just anymore...
There are strangers at my door.
Faith kept winds from reaching shore.
Never felt less, I am evermore.

Please listen,
Discard the tissue on my wrists, and
feel free to glisten.
My scars are there but easily missed when
our minds succumb to eternal prison.

Have you noticed that our eldest became our oldest?

No?

Make a wish then.

Beat me at my own game.
Fresh venison. Such a menace when
you relish my embarrassment.

Seat me in my own shame.
Lessons learnt. Benevolent.
Apprentices learn exactly what
they're meant to say.

Anyway,

My time's grown cold.
The boy is bound to play center fold.
Mentalistic chokehold.

I'm sold.

Tell me i'm done.
Tell me today is my last day.
Tell me It'll hurt me.

If today is truly my last...

I'll even go to bed early.
