In the few pieces of your work I've engaged with since joining this site today, the standout quality I'm picking up on (and moreover the reason I'm now following you) is that your poetry seems to me to have the quality of impressionist painting. The whole scene is encapsulated just by the snapshot, and with such brevity at that- I hope I can write that powerfully some day.

I agree, there is a time for everything "... a time to be born, a time to die ..."
And given the number of stray cats around here, I'm sure glad the dinosaurs died out, irksome beasts.
