A Sojourn To The Land Of Fae
The flowers on my mantelpiece
Are not real
They need no watering
They sit within a red vase
With fake ferns
And other decor
Some of the long leaves
Sweep across a picture
Where-in
A fairy scene is set
Of winged lovers
Within a misty forest
Magic comes out of the shadows
Like a curious dream
Below this pictureIs the mantelpiece
Adorned with fairy ornaments
Alongside a mermaid, a witch, and a dragon
I am surrounded by the ethereal
My room
Reflects my wild imaginings
And one day
I may drift off
Into such a far away dream world
And become a citizen of the Fae
Of my chosen reality
