What did you do in the war, daddy?

What did you do in the war daddy?
sit me on your knee.
Tell me all the tales of how you fought to keep us free.
I know you were a hero from the medals that you`ve won.
The photos in the album standing proudly with your gun.
Tell me how our smart bombs blew apart those peoples homes.
Tell me how white phosphorus, stripped the flesh off their bones.
Did you see the adults crying?Did you hear the children scream?
Do the thoughts of dying, limbless babies, haunt you in your dreams?
Some people say that war is wrong, tell me that they`re lying.
You only killed the bad guys, daddy, why are you crying?
