One minute your here, the next your gone,
Heaven gained another Angel, a very special one,
And although you are no longer here,
The memories stay forever here,
I’ll miss your face,
Your steady pace,
Your calming ways,
The happy days,
Your cheery smile,
I could do with that once in a while,
You were always happy,
Never snappy,
Your hugs were the best,
You held so tight and squeezed my chest,
You had so much love to give,
You had so much life left to live,
You brightened up the room with your funny ways,
You calmed everyone down when they had bad days, You made us feel happy when the day was so bleak,
You held us tight when we felt rather weak,
Whenever we needed you, you were never far,
You shine so bright, your my shining star,
Even though you are longer here,
Ill think of you often and I may shed a tear,
But the memories I have, make me smile,
I just wish I could talk to you once in a while,
I look at the sky, knowing your there,
But I wish you were here, life can be so unfair.
