Dream Waves

Little water drops
Drip from the faucet
Tapping on the metal below
A sound like clockwork
Never off rhythm

My eyes closed
Other senses sensitive
Soft pillow
Entranced by the water drops
Time slows down
Become entwined in a dream
Hypnosis

Brain dance waterfalls
Twin hydrogen shades
Visible flow of oxygen
Silk laced waves collide
The moon smiles down

Barely awake eyes greet the blaring morning sun
Groggy motions wrestling gravity
