As I celebrate the Anacreontic core of all poetry, vulgar or not, I have wondered as well about the folks who never branch out into other topics to decorate with their verse.
The phenomenon does indeed reveal a hint about the interdisciplinarity status of their erudition.

I appreciated your point of view in this write. When there is elegance and class in a suggestive poem there is a certain draw. When it’s just graphic for the sake of vulgarity…it’s lost on me.
