Author's Note
No poetry or short stories here. This is a tribute to England and how this country has spawned some of the greatest music this planet has ever heard. The artists listed below are favorites of mine. Some acts you may not see, simply because I either never heard of them or don't care for them. This will be a 4 part series.

We're going to ask a question, did you look up all of these groups or did you listen to and remember each name. We listen to lots of music but know very few groups. We're willing to bet that our uncle has lots of this music, if it's music he will give it a listen an he likes what he likes.

I knew this question would have come up. I have an enormous collection of vinyl & cd's. Well over 10,000 albums. Every band you see here I have in my collection. Music is my 1st love.

To freaking cool dude. We turned our uncle's garage into his own personal studio. We hooked up his phono, eight track, reel to reel, cassette decks, and cd player as one unit that he can operate himself. His military buddies love to come over an listen to all of that old music

Very cool. I'm sure your Uncle must be very happy with this setup. Music is my drug. More then reading, writing etc..I've been buying since the late 1980's. 35 years! Long time.

Dig it man dig it... all me personalities groove to these... Its one o' the few things we see eye to eye on... Robin Trower, Uriah Heep, not enough love around for em... Twas beginnin to think that was alone in lovin all thiss good music... Do you play or write your own music... andd as always... Up the Irons... \m/

Appreciate it man. I use to play in local bands when I was much younger. I had a drum set and would dabble with Bass. We did some bars and stuff like that in the mid to late 90's. Nothing crazy. How about you?

Acoustic guitar, till the neck broke some years back when weight liftin... Yeah, used to write my own music, as did my dad... A friend an me called ourselves animals burden, in tribute to Eric Burden... We spent a lot of time drinkin beer, listenin to classic rock / metal / blues rock... Should look through those old notebooks an reread what used to write, when I was young...

I'm familiar with a lot of the groups here. As a drummer I opened for Foghat 3 times. I also met the guy who wrote Sao Polo sunrise from Nektar in a bar one night. His english accent stood out.
UK Danger Money (with bozzio) was the first time I heard them. Then later I heard the first album with Bruford. Genesis, Steve Hackett, Alan Parsons Project...amd many more were on my turntable for years.
