A New Star is Born
There will be a new star shinning tonight
with such sweet bright gleams far beyond compare
to outshine ten thousand star's feeble light,
though a thousand light-years above in height
in scintillating silver twinkle, rare
there will be a new star shinning tonight.
And I will wish upon it in my plight
that we may join in celestial pair
to outshine ten thousand star's brittle light
as we collide in our blinding goodnight
to dim Earth's unmourning sun's mocking glare,
there will be a new star shinning tonight.
But I'm a feeble spark, I have no might,
my only hope to see your golden hair
will outshine a thousand sun's lowly light,
as I gaze on you in your shroud, so white,
how could they dare to take you, you so fair...
I need to see a new bright-star tonight,
outshining these dim star's unholy light.
with such sweet bright gleams far beyond compare
to outshine ten thousand star's feeble light,
though a thousand light-years above in height
in scintillating silver twinkle, rare
there will be a new star shinning tonight.
And I will wish upon it in my plight
that we may join in celestial pair
to outshine ten thousand star's brittle light

there will be a new star shinning tonight.
But I'm a feeble spark, I have no might,

I need to see a new bright-star tonight,
outshining these dim star's unholy light.
