road to nowhere

Remember back when we were young.
We had everything we wanted.
We were so loved...
And then we became more aware
We started to learn
We started to expect.
And then we started to lose faith and hope
We started changing, just like everything else
We realized that we dont have everything
And nothing is ever enough
We started trying to find ourselves
And got lost along the way
We took the wrong path and suffered.
We make the most of what we have although it isnt much.
We try to plant this false happiness within ourselves,
but we know we're not content.
And here we find ourselves stuck.
There are few solutions and you must pick the right one.
But we are cowards
Afraid of change
Afraif of losing all that we are used to
This is routine and we mustn't change
But our life is going nowhere...
And we are going nowhere with  it.
...we perish
