Felt

When our worlds collide, and my thoughts orbit you like the sun orbits this little blue dot, and when you channel your love into me, the rise & fall of my chest syncopates my heart which skips a beat at the thought of us tangled upon a blanket underneath sun, feeling the pulsation of your energy flowing into the depths of my core, gripped tightly whilst riding the waves of love.

I imagine time is a funny thing when souls spend lifetimes seeking & aching for the one who fits them like a glove, even when I faltered and altered the course of our lives the last time, gravity pulls me right back into you, and I am unable to convey the miracle of such a phenomenal occurrence but I’m fully conscious of you and our bond, and the frisson that fused our spark and I can’t turn away from that knowing without tears flowing.

I see you. I feel you. I hear you. I heart you. My soul acknowledges you. I want you to bathe in the light that brought us together. I pray for you to be free of any burdens that you may carry. I pray for you to look towards the sun and know the warmth that you radiate will always be reflected in the gaze I hold for you.

Every time you’ve held my gaze, the pain you don’t speak about washes over me, and I recognise a kindred as love blossoms, and my heart gravitates towards you, souls bared set aflame, hearts held in soft hands caressed in a loving embrace and I’m struck by the fragrance of your love, etched upon the ancient scrolls of our heart & soul.

You elicit heartfelt moments, like a rising sun, warm & wholesome, poignant enough to last a lifetime, whatever time we have left, chasing cars & healing scars, and unforgettable moments that draws forth a love that’s ever long, and ever strong, hands held within a wholesome bond that nurtures & nourishes, hips tilted and locked, you tantalise me with your playfulness and I felt my soul sigh.
