Image for the poem Are you Happy with me?

Are you Happy with me?

I aim to be the man,
Igniting a spark in your heart's span.
You illuminate joy,
A sweet delight, a life alloy.

In strife, I bear the pain,
Yet, a smile I earnestly attain.
Through darkness and tearful cries,
I light your life, a shared prize.

If your happiness is my art,
Contentment blooms in my heart.
For you are my love, my dove,
Building my world around your love.

Wealth, fame, and fleeting youth,
Transient as whispers, here and uncouth.
I desire to be the steadfast pole,
The anchor for your heart and soul.

As you dance around with glee,
I'll serenade a melody.
You're the essence, the beating heart,
Transforming my existence, a fresh start.

When joy reflects in your eyes,
I'll join in laughter, a joyous guise.

Author's Note
In the simplicity of a heartfelt message - "I will stand by you and bring you a smile," love's expressions resonate with a profound and enduring depth. The fluidity of words and expressions transcends boundaries across the world, past, present, and future. Love and kindness stand as the eternal truth, while everything else remains transient, subject to change with the passage of time.
