Beguiling

The moon was beguiling
in her ancient silver beauty.
Oxygen less, she takes your breath far away.
From the night's silver crusted gray oblivion of missing you.
In the outer space of my heart, star prints of you are still in the billions.
I slip into, a gown of sorrow.
Weeping tomorrow's, some call it rain.
More like puncturing pain.
Half insane, shall I howl at the ruler
and her cratered light?
She comes accompanied by nights of black satin and a chaos of stars a ghostly metallic white
Although the future holds her luminous cards.
My heart is a planet of vacant shards.
Unguarded from another invasion of you.
Let the beguiling moon be my dying view.
