My Star

I was lost in a forest.
The dark surrounded me.
Lost in this place to be.

And it feels like this is going to be the end of me.
I walked deeper into the forest.
Trying to find my way out.

Trying to break free.
All I saw was darkness.
I stumbled upon a star on the big,black ink.

It smiles at me and greeted me with a wink.
It told me to follow.
And so I did.

For the first time in a while,I felt hope.
The star led me to a path.
It had trees,and stones with a crack.

As I walked down the path.
I escaped the forest's wrath.
Slowly but surely, my true self will heal.

I believe,that I will escape this big,dark forest out of will.
Even after saving me,the star stayed with me.
And we soon became friends.

The star would lead me out of dangerous situations.
And I hope it will save the day.
When I feel sad,when I feel upset.

Glowing star,please come my way.
When I am overwhelmed by emotion and can't function or obey.
A star,so shiny.

Glowing brighter than the sun.
Like a million sunrays having fun.
With its warm,greeting smile.

I hoped it would stay for a longer while.
But alas,it lives on the night sky.
With planets far away.

It doesn't seem to show up in the light of day.
If it showed up,I would be much happier.
Happier than a child on Christmas day.

I believe I will meet this star someday.
