After the first time we made love, the professor said,  
“In mythology, the Lethe River runs through the  
center of Hell and makes men forget their previous lives.  
I’m going to call you Lethina.”

My most recent lover is a married college professor in Dallas. He's excited about my pregnancy, now at 16 weeks. I edited a photo he took of me. It's startling how fast my body is changing now.
