You tripped me

I always spin a coin to decide which
girl's heart to win, never thought of
it as a sin, but with you it was different.

It is not my fault that I fell for you, you
tripped me and together we committed the
perfect crime, where I stole your heart
and you stole mine.

It started as a fling then you invited me to
sing the song of spring with you, saying I was
your king made me want to buy you a ring and
place you next to my wing.

We were never meant to be, we just happened and
now your melody has became my remedy for when
I’m hurt you seduce the pain and reduce the scars
with the stars in your eyes.
