The sadness of life

Somedays, I feel joy
Other days, I feel pain and dispair
Their are days where I feel at my lowest
Other days where I am on cloud nine
Somedays I am at my worst point in my life
Their are days where I wish it was all over for me
Most of all, there are days where I just try and get by
I try to get by in life and stay above everything
Even when everything is falling apart on me
I still try and get through everything
I often hope that things get better
Even when everything around me looks like a warzone
I’m not perfect by any stretch or any standard
I ain’t even normal by anyone standard
But I try to be me regardless of what the world does to me
At the end of the day, I’m still me and still here
Even when I’m having my good and bad days
I’m still here, doing my thing and trying to stay alive
It’s all I can do when everything around me feels like it’s falling apart
I just get by and hope that things are better in the end
