Leave it all Behind

Life’s garbage piled high against a tall white wall,
seemingly never ending, you could climb it, but you’d fall.
You decide to try it anyway, but you’re always looking down,
you finally reach the top only to tumble to the ground.

Picking yourself back up, you give it another try,
believing you can do it, or you’ll just lay down and die.
You climb it once again, this time never looking down,
reaching for the sky, holding your breath, not making a sound.

Hanging on tight, you have reached the very top,
you push off with your toes, no worries, you can’t be stopped.
I knew you could do it, there’s no more being blue,
you just left life’s garbage behind, I always believed in you.
