I Gave U Life

I gave you life when I implanted my seed
But you only know me when you have a need
I concede with trying to show you the light
I've accepted that it's another futile fight

I'm sure your mother delights in destroying our bond
You're the only thing she has of which I am fond
She's the conduit for the bullshit that has manifest
Yet, class is still in session; will you pass the test?

I've rest my case and will no longer plead
Jury's out as I wait for what the verdict'll be
You'll have to make me a priority instead of a convenient option
Hopefully one day you'll filter out all of the commotion
