Beauty and the Beast II

INSIDE ROAR
Beauty and the Beast

Something black grows in my heart and it weighs me down.
I can no longer hear the birds in the branches-
they guess
Your look burns like salt in my eyes and I can't feel it
your gentle palm
Why did your cup of coffee get cold, why is it dark everywhere in the house.
I'm afraid without you

You give me sooo much more
why can't you say stay here with me
You give me sooo much more power.
Or my dumb hands will petrify forever.
and I won't be able to tell you how much I loved you.

I saw myself in your beautiful smile
I also saw other butterflies emerging from the chrysalis.
What is my lot, to share the world of animals.
Come back.

You give me sooo much more
why can't you say stay here with me
You give me sooo much more power.
Or my dumb hands will petrify forever.
and I won't be able to tell you how much I loved you.
