Broken Compass
So it begins again...Just as sure as clockwork of past memories flooded the mind. A condition of senses like drowning, overflowing, and unable to breath. Time has no start...Time has no end...Time knows your death, your lay of rest. Last rays of light unraveling towards the fortress of the sun. Ebbing sunset turns to dusk...Warmth of day, downward of goodbyes, the sun exits the sky...Sinking from earth...Alpha it births...The Darken Night.
Caught in the quiet...Quiet is the breeze caught in the winds of change. Still is the night...Moonless & dark...Stars are far. This desolation of evening, a loneliness made for me, as the tall pines agree. I'm an alien of a forgotten forest..Wooded & dense, a thick camouflaged of watching shadows accepts & wants me. Bringing my shortcomings, blemishes & vices of sins...They welcome me openly as a novice of a friend.
My vessel is no longer adrift & has landed a place I hope to dwell in. Foreign my feet touch soft sand, of an unknown land. Fresh start...New beginning...The "Once about a Time" propelling on blank white pages...Craving with urgent hunger & need for the black ink to spill the words of a panorama further view to dream.
