Five-and-Dimes

Wearing gumshoes alone in the woods
imagining, where has the willow floss gone
with the weavers and five-and-dimes
tied dyed among nature's endorphins
wickets of life's metamorphosis with wings
of trees as high as heaven over twilight waters
pulsing the echoes down to my soul
a lovelier fate of a dowager's scented  prose
in expectations of a finches minuet
imagining, where has the willow floss gone
with the weavers and five-and-dimes
