Lonely Angel
I see her around,
lonely as I am,
The city sounds
extolls this lamb,
for she is the same
as them, and I,
Lonely as we are
This city cries.
Dries her wings
after she sings,
abandoned shirts
discarded skirts,
Keeps her warm
as the people swarm,
this lonely angel
like tossed bagel.

this lonely angel
like tossed bagel.
