Angel From The Waves

Parked my car not knowing what to expect.
Two-hour coins were now inserted.
Walking through the rain that day my nerves served an all-time high.
Walked into the door of this place.
I took a right and continued walking in straight.
My eyes became instantly delighted.
There sat an angel.
She put me in a daze.
The good kind that could combust a man in place.
From the time we exchanged words I sensed a spark.
The type that’s not normal.
She delivered her words and beauty with deep depth.
Hours passed without us knowing.
We were entering a needed peaceful place.
Right when I thought she would pull away; she surprised me with a soothing reassurance.
She has planted herself surfing through my mind.
Conquered the first impression.
She remains special to me as we figure each other out.
Short time to begin with but I feel like I’ve known you much longer.
I wish I did.
Refreshes me to look at what we’ve done.
Patience and trust will be the test.
Absorbing the waves as they come in all forms.
My feet are buried in the sand.
I’m willing to stay and do all it takes to withstand.
Not letting this go to waste I want to sip this slow to enjoy all the taste.
