Journal Entry 6
Been awake pretty much all night, gonna be slow moving today for sure.
I fell about a year or so ago, tore up my rotator cuff, I went to the doctor about it, but he seemed to be more fixated on my chainsaw then my shoulder. You see I used to make chainsaw art, bears, pumpkins, benches. I loved it! However one day while visiting my grandparents, I was playing piano and stood up, grabbed my tea and wasn't paying attention cause I've took that route a million times, but unbeknownst to me my brother had a new fender for his car laying on the garage floor behind the piano bench. My clumsy self tripped, throwing my tea across the room and banging my head against the concrete, it wasn't until the next day I realized I screwed my shoulder up, so no more chainsaw art for me from that point on. When I went to the doctor explaining my situation, he seemed to be more enthrawled with the size of chainsaw I used. Lol And I mean he was writing it down in his little note pad, like really? Is that important when it had nothing to do with my shoulder? Never understood that. Still think it's strange. Needless to say he tried to send me to 6 weeks of therapy, but I refused to go, I was in so much pain the last thing I was gonna let someone do is move my arm around. I knew my rotator cuff was torn, why didn't they do more tests and just fix the durn thing? So, after many months of not using my right arm, it finally got strong enough to do normal things around the house again. However, in the past few days it's really been acting up, and I don't know why, I don't even try to lift anything extremely heavy due to the fact Im always scared I'll end up in a bad way again. Like I am now. Lol I was awake all night with my arm above my head, this sucks!!
Getting old sucks!
Anyways, gonna churn my butter today, it's the first batch of the year. I hear restaurants in New York pay good money for fresh butter. I doubt one cow is any kind of good supply though.
So I'll salt it, mold it, and stick it in the freezer for later. Slap it on warm rolls on a cold winters day.
Honestly, I'm so tired from lack of sleep, think I'll come back and write more later.
Lord, please help the world, send mercy, forgiveness, heal the broken and the sick, thank you for good friends and family.
Love,
Anna
