Tenderly Submerged

The freedom of a righteous spirit is to move as the water flows
Wading in the thirst of its effervescent to submerge the heart, mind, and the energy of the soul
Naked worshipping in truth as the skin suppleness showered in the cloaked of its cleaning baptism
Within the essence of its beautiful hydration

Sacred steps your feet take to grant you the rites of your destination
Is there ever a miracle one must surrender unto when lives become mundane
The light of inspiration has somehow been dimmed
Dreams deferred in the present of a false illusion times of now will get better

The sweat of the brows becomes the daily mantras of a veiled purpose
Yet devoid of divinity, devoid of love, shadowing the emptiness of our inner Psalms
Where are you truly migrating when head of states seem to be navigating your existence
The temple bows down to unfretted salutations as it slave for wages just to maintain the presence in society

Consumerism nutrition we dine upon has been dipped in tainted poison
The lucrative assets of the world to economize our beliefs
In the name of Allah ruins battling ruins for the consecrated of land
Blood soaking in distance cries from the atrocities of human suffering

Sunrise as eyes have seen the coming of glory
Sunset in the inhale, exhale, internal rest in the restoration of self
