i waited  
there,
for you  
by  
your garden,  
shadows  
shifting time  
overhead,  
 
i leaned  
back  
against your  
surrounding  
fence,  
i cannot  
see you,  
 
then,  
your voice,  
i turned  
to  
understand  
what
you said,  
but it was  
only  
the crying
of  
a falling leaf.
