Writers’ Hairy Eye Syndrome

Writers’ Hairy Eye Syndrome (I suffer with it).
By Michael McManus.

In the thoughts of whimsy and the absurd,
There's a tale of a syndrome, quite unheard.
It's called "hairy eye," a curious delight,
Where sight meets fuzz in the softest light.

Eyes adorned with a furry surprise,
Lashes like moss 'neath enchanted skies.
In the night of dreams, where oddities gleam,
Hairy eye syndrome, a whimsical theme.

But remember, my friend, it's just in jest,
In the world of reality, put it to rest.
For eyes so adorned with a charming grace,
In their own unique way, find their place

Author's Note
I was inspired after having my hair cut and, being bored, I began placing rolls of hair in my eye. I took a selfy and later wrote this poem. Absurdity again but I love a bit of absurdity in this absurd world.
