A Bed Of Flowers

I shall float freely
Upon the warming breezes
After i have arisen
From my linen petals
And marshmallow pillows
My silken wings
A tapestry of colour
Fluttering
Under a noon day sun
I sense the sweet nectar
Of the mid- Autumnal blossoms
Their gentle aromas
Carried on the wind
My head feels light, and heady
And whimsical
And like a fickle, fey, fae
My wings dance
I am
A zephyr ballerina
As i whirl
And swirl
Over soft, and rolling meadows
The sun
Becomes a bloodied yellow
As it begins to set
On the undulating horizon
As i again
Rest my wings
Upon a bed of flowers
