The Engagement

It inevitably happens to most people. The day that we fall in love and with that comes the day that someone will propose to you.

When you are asked to spend the rest of your days with this certain someone, you now become
engaged!

Thinking of the word engaged, for some might sound romantic, inspiring or even fulfilled.

For me I think of it as a little something more different.

Metaphorically, I will speak of course. But none the less a simile per say

when one becomes engaged it's like the proposer now put a shinny bullet in a gun. The gun is now engaged.

If things don't work out you can become disengaged. There for taking out the bullet. Disengaging the deadly shell.

But if the day comes and the engagement remains, like the importance of a finger in a wedding, one must use a finger to pull a trigger.

At to which a squeeze, a shot, a flash, I do!

The bullet goes down the barrel as fast as light and you hope you just said I do to Mr. Right.

But the bullet has been set free, and now remember you got hit and now belong to he.

You suddenly lose your last name; you suddenly lose your life!

You are just a stem of what he wants you to be. A shot to the heart, which killed you eternally.
