LOST
A tear drop falls
Release
The heart it aches
The pain emanates
Hurt
Mind races
Thoughts unclear
Darkness
Rapid breathing
Can’t catch a breath
Nothing more then a panic
Attack
Anxiety
Confusion
What is wrong with me?
Psychiatrist
Everything will be ok
Just take one of these
And two of them
A day
Medicate
Sleep with no dreams
Stars shine
But have no gleam
Tranquil
No tears
No fears
No heart pounding
Breathless ...
Release

The Engagement
It inevitably happens to most people. The day that we fall in love and with that comes the day that someone will propose to you.
When you are asked to spend the rest of your days with this certain someone, you now become
engaged!
Thinking of the word engaged, for some might sound romantic, inspiring or even fulfilled.
For me I think of it as a little something more different.
Metaphorically, I will speak of course. But none the less a simile per say
when one becomes engaged it's like the proposer now put a shinny bullet in a gun. The gun is...

Judgment
Judgment
You judge my way of thinking
You judge my parenting
You judge my family
You judge my insecurities
You judge my love
You judge me for being happy
You judge me for mistakes I make
You judge me for not seeing things your way
You judge me for my looks
You judge me for my poems and books
You judge our children
You even judge their love
Every breath I take
I take the stand to be judged

Tick Tock
Tick tock
The clock ticks
Letting me know
That you’re still up to your old tricks
I sit
I wait
Anticipate
Your return
From some abyss
Tick tock
My heart stops
With the ring of the bell
A man at my door stutters to
Tell me you are not well
There has been a horrible accident
Hurry if you will
Tick tock
My cars engine gets hot
As I race to make sure they resuscitate
Tick tock
The clock has stopped!

Life Unpredicted
I am going to share a story of a girl I once knew.
I will say from the start that all this is true!
She was a soft hearted girl, very kind and sometimes shy.
She loved to spend her days mostly outside.
She had lots of friends that she would hang with a lot.
They would play lots of sports, but really loved manhunt!
A good girl was she, kept her school work mostly top notch,
Yet the pain that she felt, she kept behind a lock.
No one knew what this young girl really felt, for she kept it well hid.
After all she was just a kid.

Choices
Life is full of choices.
Choices that we each must face each day.
From the simple little things that we don't even realize
we think about each day.
Then there are those choices
that we sit and ponder for hours,
days, even months
or years.
Those choices are some of the hardest
that we all have to challenge ourselves to make our life better. What choices have you made that actually changed your life?
A change of jobs?
A change of home?
What ever it may be,
I'm sure you had to think long and hard.

Dark Cloud
A black cloud of darkness begins to swirl around and engolf me.
Surounding me and entering my soul.
Evil from within begins to emerge.
I feel an enormous amount of anger build
as I try to repress my darkened heart.
To no prevail.
Eyes are blurry with the pain of acid tears.
Trickling down my face I can taste the fear.
A flush, blushes my face as the anger builds even stronger.
I must hold back.
I bite my tounge to keep words of hatred well hid,
causing a drop of blood to decorate my lip.
Visioning you I see my "love"....
