gone is the day I first saw you sitting there alone
not really needing me but desiring
you were looking
then, your gaze locked with mine and we had a moment
you fell for me that day I think

inside us we knew we were a thing
fate deemed us worthy
found us in our passions
and put us in each others path

in sync we glance down
it was too much to take in
our lust overwhelming
but it was more than that
we knew each other
soul to soul

kismet kissed us and breathe into our emptiness
we were no longer alone
through the thick of things in the world
we have one another

it is a thing of beauty
our relationship
you break me down and do a still life study on me
afraid to break my gaze

you stare into me and find me in love with you
still, to this day
