Goodbye Cowboy
I still think of you and my body gets tense.
I miss you so much but it doesn't make sense.
"You and I" didn't ever exist.
But I lost all control the first time we kissed
And God your so sexy, I loved your smile.
But I haven't seen you in quite a long while.
It was like I was trapped somewhere deep within. And I held my breath til I'd see you again.
So many emotions and God knows I tried.
But your wreckless heart wouldn't let me inside.
And we were never really a "thing " not at all..
It was sex and drugs. Just a quick booty call.
You'd call me so late from miles away.
And I would jump in my truck and be on my way.
My excitement grew with each passing mile.
I still think of you and I can't help but smile.
But all good things, they say must end.
But I swear I'd do it all over again.
