Let's just pretend that we have never met.
I didn't keep staring at you the first time
i meet you.
You never smiled thinking how stupid I'm.
We simply crossed each other like we cross hundreds of people every day.
Let's just pretend the love between us never existed.
I didn't wait for hours in front of your building & you never came out of your apartment.
Let's just pretend that's your cat doesn't recognise me by the scent of my Hoodia
you stole.
Because that's how things should be.

Moving on and letting go are precarious and often harder than what we ever expect....Very relatable and moving ink.
